Pastry Arts majors start their day early in the morning to bake the freshest bread, croissants, muffins, and danishes for our pastry shop. From baking cookies to crimping pie crusts and shaping baguettes, our students are guided by certified executive pastry chefs to create these items perfectly. Whether you need a specialty cake for a celebration or simply crave a French dessert, The Pastry Shop at Walnut Hill College is the place to go!
Indulge in made-to-order omelets, fruit smoothies, or sandwiches during breakfast hours, and enjoy our delightful pastry selection all day. The cozy atmosphere in a charming setting ensures a pleasant and relaxing experience.

Our daily Breakfast Pastries include individual butter and specialty Croissants, Danishes, Muffins, Scones along with other daily options for $4.50 each. We also offer a variety of Cookies including Snickerdoodles, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Cherry, Lemon Drop and many others sold individually, or by the pound.
If you have a sweet tooth and are looking for a small, personal sized treat, we offer a variety of Individual Cakes and Tortes including Chocolate Mousse Cakes, Tiramisu, Fruit Cheesecakes, Velvet Torte, and the classic Opera Torte, among others for $5.00.
Of course Full Sized Cakes and Tortes are available daily, however, hurry in as they are limited in availability! Our students are happy to write a personalized message on any premade cake.
We do offer our guests the opportunity to order Custom Cakes. We require a minimum of 48 hours advanced notice for any special orders. Unfortunately, we are not able to fulfill every request as our students education is paramount to our overall success! If you are interested in ordering a personalized cake, please call the Pastry Shop at 267-295-2304 between 7:30 and 5:00 daily, or 7:30 to 4:00 on Saturdays.
The Shop also offers a variety of beverages including coffees, teas, fountain drinks, seasonal beverages, and much more. I expert baristas are happy to prepare a selection of specialty coffees for you.
As we are a teaching institution, we encourage our students to be creative and customize their learning through our Student Signature Experiences. Our Shop offers a limited number of these daily creations throughout the week. You have to stop in and see what Student Signature Experience offerings we have available daily, or, follow us on Instagram to get a preview of our Student Signature items.
