Mr. Crowe was the founding brewmaster for the Sackets Harbor Brewing Company in New York, where he won seven medals in several international competitions in six different beer style categories. He holds an M.S. in Biochemistry from The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Diploma in Brewing Technology from The Siebel Institute of Brewing Studies.
The first person in Pennsylvania to qualify as a Certified Cicerone ®, or beer sommelier, Mr. Crowe has received the title of Certified Beer Judge and holds an intermediate certification from The Wine & Spirit Education Trust. He is also a member of The Master Brewers Association of The Americas District Philadelphia and The Brewers Association.
