Robert Tumas graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in English and Textual Studies before moving to Brooklyn to pursue his writing career. After many successes and failures, he decided that teaching was his true passion and got his M.A. in Literature from Brooklyn College. After teaching at Brooklyn College, Robert obtained a teaching position at a large technical college, where he was eventually promoted to an advising position. Though he loved the advising role, he decided to leave the world of Corporate America behind and eventually landed at Walnut Hill College, where he has never been happier. Robert has always loved to cook, and the chance to advise students who are learning to do just that is a perfect fit. He believes that a student can always achieve their goals with the right support and a lot of communication.
