Megan’s mom was the event director at Virtua Hospital for almost 20 years. Any event Megan could help out with, she would. This sparked her passion for and interest in the hospitality field. After years of helping out and volunteering, Megan decided to pursue her own career in the business. With her mind set on event planning, Megan enrolled in Walnut Hill College, but when she got there, Megan discovered another passion she never knew she had: bartending. She’s now been running the College’s Cocktail Club for two years and designed the 2018 holiday cocktail menu for Bistro Perrier. Her favorite part about the business is the people she gets to meet, the creativeness she gets to have, and seeing all the hard work pay off. Currently, Megan is a server at Pizzeria Mannino’s and has earned her associate degree in Hotel Management. After earning her bachelor’s, she hopes to one day own and run a sports bar!
