Campus will be closed Saturday, May 25th to Monday, May 27th
for the Memorial Day Holiday.
The Pastry Shop will resume normal business hours on
Tuesday, May 28th.
While the city sleeps, dough is on the rise. In the early hours of the morning, our pastry arts students begin their day of baking fresh breads, croissants, muffins and danishes.
Simultaneously, there is a group of students preparing freshly made cakes, tortes and individual French pastries under the guidance of our Certified Executive Pastry Chef Instructors. There are cookies to be baked, pie crusts to be crimped, baguettes to shape and mousse to be made. All our items are prepared daily to the highest of standards, benefiting both our Pastry Shop customers and our students' learning experience.
Enjoy a hot breakfast or a quick morning sandwich. A distinctive variety of pastries and traditional favorites are available all day. A comfortable atmosphere in a quaint setting allows for an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
The students of The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College prepare a bill of fare to delight from Monday - Saturday. We invite you to enjoy their work and talents, displayed in the Pastry Shop (breakfast is served from 7:30 - 10:30am) on those days.
